History is in the making at Aloha Green Apothecary! Governor Green recently approved amendments to Hawaiʻi Administrative Rules (HAR), Chapter 11-850, permitting Medical Cannabis Dispensaries to include pre-rolled cannabis flower products on their menu. For those of us who have been part of Aloha Green since 2017, this approval represents years of perseverance and dedication.
You might wonder, why did it take so long? Well, every manufactured product must be approved by the Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH) before it can be offered. So, in short, we were patiently waiting for this green light! Now that pre-rolls are allowed, let’s dive into what Aloha Green Apothecary’s “High Tides” and new “Low Tides” Pre-Rolls have to offer.
What are High Tides and Low Tides Pre-Rolls?
AGA’s High Tides Pre-Rolls consist of our greenhouse flower finely grounded and packed into unbleached paper cones. Our initial launch contains 6 pre-rolls – 0.5g each, ready for immediate use. They’re as straightforward as can be: light them up and smoke away! It’s important to note that smoking cannabis can be harmful, and we encourage exploring safer alternatives such as vaporizing or consuming edibles.
Introducing our new Low Tides Pre-Rolls, a smaller 0.3g option perfect for those looking for a lighter experience. Each pack contains 10 pre-rolls, offering more flexibility for different occasions.
About Our Flower
For our pre-roll collection, we’ve selected sungrown flower, no shake or trim added. This is the same flower that’s been on our flower menu, just now available in pre-roll form. But what exactly is greenhouse flower? It’s cannabis grown under the Hawaiian sun in our greenhouse, as close to nature as possible without being fully outdoors. Packaging and Freshness
Each pack of High Tides contains six 0.5g pre-rolls, securely housed in a child-resistant tin (no plastic here!) along with a Boveda pack to maintain freshness. We’ve clearly marked the expiration date on our packaging, ensuring you’re always aware of the product’s freshness. Low Tides pre-rolls come in packs of ten 0.3g pre-rolls, featuring child-resistant poptop packaging and freshness packs to keep your product in optimal condition. How Much?
The price of our High Tides pre-rolls is $35 for 6- 0.5g joints, making it about $5.83 per joint.
Our new Low Tides pre-rolls are priced at $40 for 10- 0.3g joints, making them an affordable option at just $4 per joint!
