Local Buzz: Small Biz Saturday Honey Drop!

Introduction:

This Small Business Saturday, feel the warmth of community as we share a some of our latest updates at Aloha Green Apothecary. The sweet taste of local flavors takes center stage as we welcome our NEW infused Christmas Berry Honey, hand-crafted by MĀNOA HONEY & MEAD over on the North Shore. We’d like to take a moment to share more about our passionate local partner!

Who is Mānoa Honey & Mead?

Originally founded in Mānoa Valley in the late 90’s, the dedicated crew at MĀNOA HONEY & MEAD move with purpose and honor of nature’s gifts; recognizing the special relationship between plants, bees, and mankind. Yuki and Erika launched this family-owned-and-operated business back in 2014, producing a full line up of honey infusions & raising bees all over O’ahu.

They like to say “working hard every day – just like bees!”

With the goal of expressing the beauty of the special relationship between plants, bees, and mankind, we are honored to collaborate with this local small business for our second round of infused craft honey that is pure, raw, and contains no artificial ingredients.

Interested in knowing more about how they do what they do? Currently, MĀNOA HONEY & MEAD are offering their Bees To Mead Experience tours, where participants start off in their Honey House in Wahiawa & end with a mead & honey tasting with small cheese & fruit plate. Find more info on their tasting experience options here. Check out what these busy bees are up to at www.manoahoney.com, or follow them on IG: @manoahoneymead.
