Cultivation Specialist (Grow Hand)

Aloha Green Apothecary is seeking a Cannabis Cultivation Specialist to assist in a variety of specialized tasks exclusive to Aloha Green Apothecary’s Cultivation Section. The Specialist values teamwork and possesses a positive attitude to maintain a comfortable and productive working environment. The Specialist is dependable and efficient, performing in the best possible manner in the time given. The role’s exceptional organizational skills and ability to effortlessly adapt to ongoing changes improves the quality of their work and efficiency in cross-functioning.

What you will do:

The Cannabis Cultivation Specialist assists in all facets of the day-to-day Cultivation Section, primarily providing on-site support in cannabis plant care operations. The role reports to the Senior Cultivator and assists in cannabis cultivation tasks by ensuring product is properly harvested, cured, and processed, keeping quality and sanitation at the forefront. The Specialist follows exact instructions to properly execute tasks and manages to professionally accept constructive criticism from leadership to improve operations, meet production targets, and quality goals. The role regularly communicates with team lead and other team members. The Specialist will report to the Cultivation Director and Cultivation Supervisors.

Job Duties: Position is a combination of roles. This list is intended to describe the general level of work being performed; it is not intended to be all-inclusive. The duties of this position may fluctuate from time to time due to the flexible nature of this hybrid role

· Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

· Follow all record keeping procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

· Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws

· Operate machinery, utilize tools and apply training supplied to perform job duties

· Complete and file all compliance documents associated with product packaging and waste

· Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas

· Organizing constantly to maintain an orderly workspace

· Provide additional support as needed to achieve facility production goals

Compensation & Benefits:

· Starting at $17 – $18 per hour DOE

What you’ll need:

The Cannabis Cultivation Specialist role requires a reliable and goal-driven individual, inclined to continually push forward until goals are met. The role requires working in high temperatures, standing for extended periods of time, and lifting 30+lbs. The role requires full time availability (35 – 40 hours per week) and may periodically work weekends and holidays to meet production goals. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a vehicle due to facility location. Strong preference for local candidates (Oahu residents) as we are urgently hiring.

The Specialist values teamwork and possesses a positive attitude to maintain a comfortable and productive working environment. The Specialist is dependable and efficient, counting and calculating with accuracy, and performing in the best possible manner in the time given. The role’s exceptional organizational skills and ability to effortlessly adapt to ongoing changes improves the quality of their work and efficiency in cross-functioning.

What you will do:

The Cannabis Post-Production Specialist assists in all facets of the day-to-day post-production section, primarily trimming and packaging cannabis, preforming pre roll duties, and providing additional support as assigned by management. The Specialist follows exact instructions to properly execute tasks and manages to professionally accept constructive criticism from leadership to improve operations, meet production targets, and quality goals. The role regularly communicates with team lead and other team members but often works independently, performing repetitive tasks, and sitting/standing for extended periods of time. The Specialist will report to the Cultivation Director and Post-production Supervisors.

· Provide additional support as needed to achieve facility production goals

Compensation & Benefits:

· Starting at $17.50/hour during 90-day probationary period with opportunity to earn more upon completion of the probationary period AND successful performance review

What you’ll need:

The Cannabis Post-Production Specialist role requires a reliable and goal-driven individual, inclined to continually push forward until goals are met. Prior cannabis experience not required. High motivation, strong desire to learn, and willingness to work hard is quintessential for the entry-level role. The Specialist must be focused and self-disciplined to perform monotonous, detailed work for extensive periods of time. Must possess high situational awareness, always prioritizing safety in the workplace. A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and quality is necessary. The role requires full time availability (35 – 40 hours per week) and may periodically work weekends and holidays to meet production goals.
