Aloha Green Herb House on N. Nimitz Highway will offer customers a thoughtfully designed, touchless retail experience.

Aloha Green Holdings Inc. (dba Aloha Green Cannabis Collection) announced it will open its 3rd, Oahu’s 7th, and Hawaii 16th medical cannabis dispensary Aloha Green Herb House (“The Herb House”) on Monday, March 22nd, 2021. The 4,200-square-foot retail dispensary located at 3131 N. Nimitz Highway, Honolulu, Hawaii replaces the local favorite Chan’s Gourmet Buffet next to Alamo Rent A Car at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. The new airport location is centrally located to serve urban and central Oahu along all major Highway routes and an ideal location for out-of-state patients visiting and local patients returning to the islands. The new dispensary will be open daily, Monday-Sunday, 7-days a week, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Herb House will provide a more casual and relaxed customer experience with a focus on a faster and safer experience with touchless and more personalized shopping in the post-pandemic era.

The Herb House is the cannabis dispensary of the future. At the end of 2020, The state of Hawaii had over 30,000 registered medical cannabis patients with an average age of 50 years old. The Herb House is designed for a vulnerable patient population with underlying conditions in mind to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The Herb House incorporates CDC and Department of Health recommendations such as 6-foot social distancing markers, sanitizing stations with alcohol sanitizer and outdoor hand washing basins, polycarbonate shields and partitions, touchless payment options including CanPay and debit.

The Herb House will focus on a personalized shopping experience with faster check-in and check-out procedures to reduce time indoors. Patients are greeted by our new concierge desk where patients may make online orders at our digital kiosks for a click and collect experience in our shaded lanai and avoid unnecessary personal interactions. Patients may also pre-order from any mobile smart device in their vehicles and pick-up at our dedicated walk-up take-out window or park in designated stalls for curbside pick-up. For patients who wish for our in-person service with Aloha experience, The Herb House utilizes automatic security doors to whisk patients through a socially distanced expansive sales floor. Lineups are reduced with up to eight point-of-service terminals staffed by our friendly and knowledgeable budtenders. The large sales floor allows for social distancing and improved filtered airflow. There are over 100 parking spots available with dedicated curbside pick-up, handicap, and customer parking.

According to regulations, patients must have a valid 329 card and picture ID to enter a retail dispensary. The Herb House is committed to the health and safety of our patients and is the first dispensary in Hawaii designed to optimize the customer experience in a safe space. “We are grateful to be part of such a supportive community during the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to make sure our patients, who are a vulnerable population, are protected as much as possible when visiting our dispensaries,” states TY Cheng, a spokesperson for Aloha Green Herb House. CEO James Lee adds “COVID has changed how we interact as a community, but we hope our patients will continue to feel aloha while also safe at our dispensaries.”

Aloha Green Cannabis Collection has implemented similar physical and digital tools to reduce the risk to patients at its two other dispensaries operating as Aloha Green Apothecary located at the ground floor of the Interstate Building, 1314 S. King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, and in the heart of Waikiki at Saratoga Road and Kalakaua Avenue.
